Newfoundland woodland caribou carry some of the heaviest antler mass in North America. The isolation of the herds, combined with limited hunting pressure and deep wilderness terrain, produces animals that are consistently larger, older, and more impressive than what most hunters ever encounter.
Our area is specifically managed for trophy-quality bulls. You won’t find these genetics or this caliber of animal in heavily pressured zones.

About this hunt

This outfit operates in the northernmost woodland caribou management area in Newfoundland and Labrador, offering one of the most exclusive caribou hunting opportunities remaining in North America. Hunting is conducted through spot-and-stalk methods in open country during the rut. Guides assist in selecting mature trophy stags based on antler mass, symmetry, and character. Recognition During the 32nd Edition of the Boone and Crockett Records, caribou taken by our hunters placed First and Second overall. The Lodge at Lane's Pond

All hunts are based from our private lodge at Lane’s Pond. The lodge was built by our family and reflects how we hunt and how we host. Guest accommodations are housed in separate lodges constructed from local wood, each with private entrances overlooking the pond. The main lodge includes a dining room, sitting area, and fireplace. Guides are housed separately
