About this hunt

Our bear hunts are spot and stalk style, which proves to be the most exciting every time! Spring is when the bears are out, cruising old logging roads, prowling high avalanche chutes and old burns or eating grass in logging cuts. We have a high population of color phase bears including chocolate and cinnamon. Bear hunts are great for groups as we are back at base camp for lunch and every evening, days are long and fishing for trout is excellent on our private lake at base camp. This hunt is also great for new hunters as we typically get lots of opportunties to see and put stalks on bears. Wolf can also be added to this hunt. Spring Black Bear hunts are 5 days long, with a travel day on either end. They can be arranged to be '1 on 1' - one hunter per 1 guide, or '2 on 1' - 2 hunters per 1 guide ($4500 per hunter).
