Gredos Ibex

Experience an exceptional Gredos Ibex hunt in one of Spain’s premier hunting areas. As soon as you arrive at the airport, our team will be there to welcome you, assist with customs procedures, and transfer you to the hunting zone, where our PH and local guide will accompany you throughout the adventure. This experience is designed for hunters who enjoy real mountain hunting in free-range terrain. When you land in Madrid, you’ll meet our outfitter/PH and, once the formalities are completed, we will drive about 2 hours to the hunting grounds to begin the adventure. We recommend purchasing insurance and planning 2–3 days for the hunt to allow a relaxed schedule without pressure. Before heading into the mountains, we always test rifles. Depending on the weather and terrain, we will move through the area using 4x4 vehicles, horseback, or on foot while glassing for ibex. Once an animal is located, we begin the stalk. The final moments bring the most excitement—choosing the right trophy and keeping calm can be challenging! After getting into shooting position—usually with a stable rest available—you’ll take the shot. Once the ibex is down, we retrieve the trophy, measure it, and tag it properly. We work with transparent pricing and offer a simple, hassle-free booking process. Note: SCI and CIC scoring systems differ. Our pricing is based on CIC, meaning SCI scores generally turn out higher. Note: Gredos Ibex qualifies for the GSCO Capra Slam. Note: The hunt can be done with rifle or bow (bow hunts typically require more days). Moderate fitness is advised. Note: The itinerary can be tailored to your needs and can also include sightseeing or tourism. Note: We recommend lightweight rifles, calibers suitable for long-range shots, and reliable optics that you shoot confidently.
