  • At Predator Vs Prey Outfitting we like to provide a smaller camp experience with a 1 on 1 guide service.
  • Our remote camp provides a true wilderness experience deep in the heart of Alberta’s prime wildlife habitat. You are truly in the middle of nowhere. Our camp consists of canvas wall tents, cots with thick foam and wood stoves for heat. Excellent home-cooked meals with a full kitchen are provided, washing and shower facilities are also available.
  • The camp is powered by a generator which is highly valuable for recharging those video camera batteries. We like to keep our camp small and personalized to provide you with the attention and service you need to have a truly great hunting experience. A mobile phone is available in camp should any emergencies arise. You may bring your cell phone as most of them work in our area.

Once you have your WIN fill in and complete the hunting contract, make sure all the information on it is correct. Date and sign it and email or fax it back to me.

Baiting Strategy Aggressive baiting at each site with multiple 55-gallon drums and varied baits Stands are positioned for close-range rifle or bow shots (about 20 yards) All sites are in prime bear country and regularly produce trophy-size boars Weather & What to Bring Daylight: ~18 hours in May Temps: Can range from below freezing to 80°F (snow, rain, and sun possible) Gear to pack: Layered clothing and rain gear Good boots and warm gloves Head cover & goggles for ATV rides Memories That Last Every hunt comes with photos and proper trophy care so you can take home both memories and a well-preserved bear hide. Most of our bears have never seen humans and consistently average 18"-21"+ skulls, making them true trophy-class animals. Many hunters also choose to pursue a second bear after a few days in camp—it’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

You will be picked up in Fort McMurray by 12pm (noon) and it's about 1.5h drive to the winter road parking lot, it's a scenic drive on the edge of the oil sands.  When we arrive at the parking lot we will load up into ATV’s and travel about 45min to camp.
