Shiras Moose Hunt

Shiras Moose Hunt in SE British Columbia’s spectacular Rockies.   Looking for a moose hunter. Great hunt for an older hunter who just wants to get out, no pressure and see new country. This is in a LEH area so few hunters in the field. Only other hunter in camp will be a sheep hunter. Accommodation is a comfortable cabin and lodge. Food is great, liquor is suggested. Must have a sense of humor and not in a hurry (guide is old and slow).   Average size is 40” to 50” rifle or bow.    Bow hunt (compound or cross bow) arrive at camp on September 30th, hunt 8 days and depart October 9th. Rifle hunt, arrive October 14th, hunt 8 days and depart October 23rd.   Arrival/Departure point is Cranbrook BC. Hunter can expect to hunt via truck/jeep, spot, stalk and call. Terrain is easy to moderate. Temperatures range from 25F to 50F with a chance of snow.
