Success rate
We are yet to send a client home without the main animals on their list. The reason for this is that we have a strict hunting quota therefore there is an abundance of wildlife around. We do not put and shoot, these are all wild self-sustaining herds hunted in healthy ecosystems.

The reserve encompasses 61 000 acres of a variety of habitats, from steep valley ravines of thick Eastern Cape indigenous bush to open grass plains with endless sightings of roaming game. The Kowie and the Blaaukrantz Rivers meet in the reserve providing an abundance of bird life and some of the best large-mouth bass fishing in the region.

Bedrooms The lodge has 4 en-suite bedrooms with private outdoor showers, extra king-sized beds, and heated blankets. These can be made up as twin rooms on request. Underfloor heating and fireplaces take the chill off winter evenings. Living Spaces Equipped with full DSTV, mobile phone signal, and WiFi, Acacia allows guests to maintain as much contact with the outside world as they choose. The big farmhouse kitchen is a central place for families to gather around mealtimes and offers those with culinary aspirations to join the chef in creating their masterpiece. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for convivial evenings under the stars.

Cancellation

  • In the event of a client canceling a safari less than 6 months prior to the commencement date of the safari, the deposit will be forfeited if the dates cannot be rescheduled to alternate dates within the same season or the following season.
  • Safaris canceled more than 6 months prior to the commencement date of the hunt will be refunded the deposit less 25%. This 25% will not be refunded but can be applied to a future safari with alternate dates within the same season, or the following season.

Wounding

  • Any animal wounded/hit, and found OR lost, will be deemed as taken.
  • The full trophy fee will apply.
