Soemmerring s gazelle hunting in Ethiopia {{ totalToursString }}
Sommering’s Gazelle are one of five species of Gazelle that still occur in Ethiopia. Four subspecies once occurred in the country however today no differentiation is made between subspecies when it comes to issuing a hunting license.
Soemmerring’s Gazelle have two distinguishing features, a white rump patch around the tail that extends nearly to the top of the rump and a dark muzzle. The top of the tail is white and the bottom is black. They also have no band on the flank.
This species is listed as vulnerable by the IUCN but can still be hunted on license in Ethiopia.
