Reedbuck hunting in Namibia
We found 1 hunt
The only Reedbuck naturally occurring Reedbuck found in Namibia is the Common Reedbuck. This is the largest of the three species of Reedbuck.
One subspecies of Common Reedbuck occurs in Namibia, that is the Southern or South African Reedbuck and is found in the water-rich region of the Caprivi Strip, now called the Zambezi Province. Very similar to a White-tailed Deer in colour, these animals prefer grazing the water-rich environments and floodplains habitats. During the heat of the day, they rest up in long grass or reedbeds. They graze mostly in the early mornings and late afternoons, even at night, especially during full moon periods.
Classified as a species of least concern by the IUCN. No special hunting permits are required to hunt this antelope.
