Planning my next hunt

I had always wanted to hunt out west and this adventure didn’t disappoint. Even though the deer population was way down and competitive, our guide found areas on the map no one was hunting and now I’m heading home with a great buck in the back of the truck. They truly cared about us having a great experience, all around, and worked tirelessly to make it happen. I’ll be reaching out to them again for my next hunt!
The owner has a lot of things going on so we didn’t talk much before our trip. My advice is to be proactive, if you have questions then call him.

Dirk put us on a great spot to shoot Prarie dogs. We got to the Prarie dog town an hour after daylight and had our fill of shooting by 2 pm. My 9 and 11 year old daughters pulled the trigger until they were tired of it. Beautiful scenery, tons of shooting, and Dirk was accommodating to our experience level. We travel and hunt extensively so he just set us up and let us be. A perfect outfit for us. I’m most likely going to book again!

I can't rate GPO any higher. Dirk & Mandy provided exceptional food and hospitality. Our guide, Brayden, was hard working and conscientious. Wyoming had a hard 22-23 winter so we were a little worried about the numbers and quality of animals we would see....our worries were unfounded. We saw numerous antelope and mule deer every day. My wife and I both filled our antelope tags while hunting over water holes. Brayden led me on a perfect stalk on a nice 4by velvet mule deer...the big one lived to see another day when he stood up with sage brush covering his vitals. This was our first time hunting antelope and mule deer, we couldn't be any happier with the experience and we hope to go back again.
Too hot but I can't blame the outfitter for the weather.
