Natural pans are also filled by rainwater which typically lasts well into the hunting season after an average raining season. The southern and southeastern parts of the area consists of a relatively fair amount of savanna grasslands and fewer hills, while more red soil type sand dunes in the northwest which is sparsely grassed over. The area is very big so we start early in the morning looking for fresh tracks at waterholes and begin following the tracks. We use the vehicle to cover ground in search of the animal we want to hunt. Once sighted the hunt will commence. All hunts are walk and stalk in easy to walk conditions.
