This is a fun hunt to do either on your own or with a couple buddies or family members. It makes for a great day and is very kid friendly! We have several prairie dog towns on our private ranch providing for hours of shooting. Your trigger finger will get tired! We generally suggest bringing at least 300-400 rounds of ammunition per day per person. There are several stores in the town of Sheridan to purchase more if you need.

This is an amazing DIY Archery Elk Camp located in Southwestern Colorado. This camp drops you off into the middle of Elk Country, our groups in the past have always seen elk and got shot opportunities during their hunts. This camp also offers excellent mule deer hunting, if you have preference points and can draw a tag. You are able to drive into this camp via a private road but all hunting is on foot from there. This camp has 800 acres of private property to hunt as well as thousands of hard to access acres of non-motorized National Forest. This is a true DIY hunt, we take you into the camp help you get settled, provide a map or onx points of suggested hunting areas and then the rest is up to you. A unique feature of this camp is that you can glass a lot of country from camp and listen to them bugle at night. This camp is setup for groups of 4 at $1750 per person, groups of 3 at $2000 per person, groups of 2 or solo guys may book but may have to share a camp.

You will come in late morning or early afternoon, zero in your gun and then hunt in one of 11 elevated heated blinds, spend the night in the hunters house and hunt again in the morning and throughout the day until successfully finding the Buck you want.

What a RUSH! This is the most enjoyable, exciting and fun hunt you'll ever experience. We have lots of nice lions in this area to hunt from November to March each year. We offer the best in Colorado Mountain Lion Hunts with a very well trained pack of cold nosed hounds, 4x4 trucks, and ATV’s with track systems. A typical day starts early in the pre-dawn hours looking for a fresh track, once we cut a track the hounds are released and the hunt is on. We will be going through rugged terrain following the hounds to where the lion is treed. Depending on the freshness of the lion track, hunting can be very demanding physically. This offer includes a 5 day fully guided lion hunt per $6,000. Additional non-hunter/ guest are an additional $200 per day. We run our hunts Monday through Friday. Mountain Lion Licenses can be purchased over the counter when you arrive for your hunt. The Colorado Division of Wildlife does require all hunters to complete an online Mountain Lion Identification Course before purchasing a hunting license. The ranch is covered in thick brush with senderos and fields which makes hunting a true challenge . The challenge and thrill of these hunts are the perfect compliment to a South Texas Whitetail hunt or pursued on their own year around. 1 night lodging and meals.
