Our spring bear hunts are very exciting with numerous sightings per day often in the double digits. Average harvest size between 6' to 7'. There is a high density and we take a limited number of hunters affording many opportunities including color phase bears. Bears will frequent the southern mountain slopes and newer logging cuts, feeding on the fresh grasses, clover and dandelions in the spring. We know where the good berry patches are and can put you on some great bears in the Fall as well. Our mountain lion hunts are definitely one of our favorites. They are also one of the most unpredictable. We use highly trained hound dogs and enthusiastic lion chasing guides. This can be one of our most fast paced hunts. With temperatures sometimes ranging from -30 degrees and snow all the way up to t-shirt weather and no snow, it's anyone's guess here in Wyoming! What we can be sure of is our dogs and guides are ready to work for you! Whether we are on a hot lion track or sipping coffee watching the snow fall in sub zero temperatures, we will do our best to make sure you have the hunt of a lifetime! The hunt includes accommodations and transportation during your hunt, with meals, trophy and meat care also included. Your hunt price is for one guide for two hunters, one on one hunts can be arranged in advance. In our day-rate hunts, breakfast and dinner are not included but a sack lunch will be.

We invite you to gather up your hip boots and a good rifle and come hunt some of the finest black bear country in the world! These bears are fresh out from hibernation. They grow large due to the maritime environment that offers ample salmon, rock crabs, sedges, berries, and sea life. The long days and mild temperatures of Spring makes for easy days afield. Our big boat is base camp and we use 16' skiffs to spot from. It is common to see big boars chasing sows as they come into rut. The grouse are booming in the mountains, steel head are headed up the streams from salt water, the songbirds are back from their trip South. These days afield are the nectar of a new year beginning. A big boar black bear will give you a gorgeous trophy; and if you are game to try, the meat makes wonderful stew meat, swiss steak, and Summer sausage. This is a great trip for both the trophy hunter looking for a book animal and the young hunter desiring a first animal. Bears average 7', we get occasional 7 1/2', the largest are 8'.

This diverse eco-system is home to numerous plains game species as well as the stunning sable and cape buffalo. This beautiful property and it’s diverse vegetation provides some of the best hunting in the Limpopo province. Our experienced staff are there to cater for your every need. Our chef Goody will tantalise your senses with his delicious, traditional South African cuisine, giving you an experience of true African culinary delights. We also hunt different concessions in the area to provide our clients with the option to harvest a wider variety of species. Our hunting season usually starts between March and November with June and July being the prime time which is in the middle of the mild South African winters. We offer both rifle and bow hunting. When rifle hunting the day begins by driving around in search of game or alternatively fresh tracks, once the game is spotted the final approach is done on foot. Bow hunting is mostly done over a waterhole and the shooting distance varies between 25 to 30 yards. Weather permitting, there is always the option to try spot and stalk bow hunting. It is always rewarding when you manage to harvest one of these wary animals on foot.

You'll experience our North-Central Alberta, Canada, hunting zone, where there is little local pressure on the bears since it is a non-baiting zone. We also include a wolf license in the price of your hunt. Our hunts are six days long, from Monday to Saturday. We spend a month prior to the hunt ensuring each bait is refreshed in a timely fashion, promising a successful hunt for our clients. You will sit in different stands through the week (we do not keep you in one) and we will rotate where you sit depending on bear activity. Trophy after trophy, giant bears of blonde, cinnamon, brown, chocolate, and, of course, black colour phase. With quality and quantity baits as well as year round scouting of protected hunt sites and monitoring of giant bear movements, our marquee hunt features attention to detail in preparation for your hunt.
