African wild cat hunting in Namibia {{ totalToursString }}
African Wild Cat look very similar to a domestic tabby cat. They occur in the central and eastern savannah regions of the country and are absent from the deserts in the west.
These grey-coloured cats have black stripes on their legs. They are found in a multitude of habitats provided there are dense thickets, tall grass and rocky areas for shelter. They feed on mice, rats, birds, insects, small mammals, spiders and even fruit.
African Wild Cats are usually solitary and mostly nocturnal. Although mainly terrestrial, like all cats, they are good climbers especially if trying to escape from an attacker.
