More about us

Our company was established in 2020 and operates in 1 territory.
  • At Borealis Outfitters, our professionally-guided waterfowl hunts take place on the Atlantic Ocean, primarily on the northeast coast of Newfoundland. This includes areas such as Notre Dame Bay, Bonavista Bay, and all parts in between. We pride ourselves on providing excellent hunting opportunities for Sea Ducks as well as Common & Red Breasted Mergansers, American Black Ducks along with Old Squaw, and Scoters. Our trophy bird is the Northern Eider “Borealis” which we have in abundance here on our coastline. There may also be an opportunity from time to time to harvest a King Eider and Pacific Eider, although we must stress that the King and Pacific Eiders are significantly less abundant than the Borealis.
  • Borealis Outfitters has a combined 50+ years of hunting experience and currently we are utilizing the best equipment available, such as our custom 25’ salt-water duck boat, “Fowl Language”, powered by a 4-stroke Mercury Sea Pro v8. We will also be offering a variety of shore blind hunts for days in which a hunt from the vessel is not feasible due to weather. This is an extreme hunt and we would like our customers to consider this when hunting with us. Our client’s safety is paramount and our top priority.
  • We look forward to hearing from you and booking your trip of a lifetime with Borealis Outfitters where we make your trophy hunt a trip you won’t forget!
