Our company was established in 2015 and operates in 4 territories.

When two like minded individuals with similar ambitious ideas cross paths, it is only inevitable that something great should come from it. Combining their passions for the outdoors, people and hunting, Michael and Dempsey have formed a company that focuses not only on the hunt, but also the experience given to each client. Many years down the road we continue to proudly deliver that excellent service time and time again.
With access to some of South Africa's top hunting areas we have been able to deliver unmatched trophy quality year in and year out. If not being guided by Michael or Dempsey, we have world class guides that have been carefully selected and vetted by us to ensure that you, the client, have the best possible experience and also ensure a successful and memorable safari.
Due to our rich German hunting heritage which stems from Michael’s ties to Germany we have enjoyed a hugely eclectic group of clients from around the world. If you can name a hunting nation, the likelihood is that we have guided someone from there! Typically we attend a number of hunting trade shows from January to February every year and it's always a pleasure to meet up with old and prospective clients alike.

About this hunt

As we now have the time to reflect on another truly incredible Buffalo hunting season we find ourselves already itching to get back out there and look for the Dugga boys that got away! We had a truly phenomenal season at Madikwe with our incredibly skilled team managing to successfully hunt some absolutely breathtaking bulls. Once again this season we did not see a lapse in the age or quality of the Buffalo we hunted, but the hunt remained as difficult as we have come to expect from Madikwe! Years of hard work and management are continuing to pay off! That is the beauty of having enough space for buffalo to hide! We will be hunting a limited quota of 3 Buffalo bulls in the 2026 season as part of our continued management plan. This ensures a high degree of success for the client and a maintained focus on age. We also like to make it clear that when a hunter books a Buffalo hunt with us at Madikwe we have no size restrictions/limits. Our focus will always be on age. It is the hunters luck on the day that determines the bull he is destined to meet with. That being said the biggest bull we have hunted there measured a whopping 51 an 1/4" using the Rowland Ward method. Those of you who have hunted Cape Buffalo will know exactly why it is such an addictive hunt and a hunt that deserves all the respect and prestige afforded to it! If you could bottle the feeling of your first buffalo hunt and sell it you'd most definitely be a wealthy man! Camp is a tented Hemingway style camp with a bricked chalet we call the Honeymoon suite as an option as well. If doing this hunt don't rule out the plains game hunting which is simply incredible. Travel time from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to camp is a painless 3 and a half hours drive.

After a hard day's hunting at any of our lodges, guests can always look forward to a traditional South African campfire whilst exchanging stories under the African nights skies.

Cancellation

Non-refundable deposit if the hunt is cancelled within 90 days before the commencement date.
50% refund if cancelled outside of the 90 day period.
Deposit may be carried forward if hunt is rescheduled 90 days or more before the commencement of the hunt.

Wounding

Unfortunately with the amount of predators, diseases and the ease of infection, any game that is wounded has to be paid in full according to the price list or package. But rest assured, we have some amazing trackers and great PH's that will try their utmost to find any wounded game even after you have left!
