Combining their passions for the outdoors, people and hunting, Michael and Dempsey have formed a company that focuses not only on the hunt, but also the experience given to each client. If not being guided by Michael or Dempsey, we have world class guides that have been carefully selected and vetted by us to ensure that you, the client, have the best possible experience and also ensure a successful and memorable safari.
- Due to our rich German hunting heritage which stems from Michael’s ties to Germany we have enjoyed a hugely eclectic group of clients from around the world. If you can name a hunting nation, the likelihood is that we have guided someone from there! Typically we attend a number of hunting trade shows from January to February every year and it's always a pleasure to meet up with old and prospective clients alike.

About this hunt
Good day BYH community! We are proud to be able to offer this to all of you in 2024! We have just enjoyed a fantastic 2023 season with new an old clients. This hunt is always a welcome cash injection into looking after and maintaining the population of white Rhino's in South Africa. Rhino hunting in South Africa is highly regulated and we are privileged to be one pf the few countries in the world with a large enough population to be able to legally hunt these wonderful animals. This hunt will take place on one of our various areas that has Rhino depending on which hunt you wish to do. There are multiple Rhino's on the concessions (exact numbers and location not to be revealed for security reasons) ranging from bulls to cows to calves and some concessions are in excess of 100,000 acres!! We will of course always target a specific animal for the hunt. Although their eyesight may be poor their nose and hearing is great and it is a serious nerve wrecker once you are within range of them! You will be guided by us personally and you will be in safe hands. For those interested in this hunt please remember that dependent on where the hunt will take place the application process can take anywhere from 1 month to 3 months for the permit to be processed. Previous hunting of the big 5/ dangerous 7 as well as membership with a hunting club/organization is also a requirement. Other species are available to hunt on the safari.

Depending on your needs, our accommodations are able to meet all requirements. From those wanting a more rustic bush experience to those that prefer a few more creature comforts during their trip - we have it all. All members of the family will be able to relax and unwind in our exclusive areas and you can rest assured when deciding to bring your spouse along that she will be more than pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. After a hard day's hunting at any of our lodges, guests can always look forward to a traditional South African campfire whilst exchanging stories under the African nights skies.

- Flight to and from Johannesburg International Airport and any national flights from one concession to the next.

But rest assured, we have some amazing trackers and great PH's that will try their utmost to find any wounded game even after you have left!

Excellent hunting experience
Unbelievably and unforgettably
Absolutely professional Michael’s team. His own PH level is off the scale. Trophies are just unreal. If you are looking for a real Africa and a real honest hunting, then you are here The movement of a herd of buffaloes somewhere nearby in the bush, an eye-to-eye look at a distance of less than 20 meters, PH luring the buffalo even closer and an arrow flying to an incredible trophy… This is something I’ll never forget. Thank you guys, thank you Michael, thank you Africa!

Best outfitter I've used. 8 safaris in total, of which 2 with Bayly Sippel, next will be with them too.
Instantly understand their client's needs and preferences and taylor the safari accordingly. Enthusiastic, excellent tracking, lodging, skinning, easy-going and hard-working. I highly recommend.
