This is a remote hunt. Ideally we will set up camp in a area with snow forecasted or on the ground. This hunt requires the ability to walk multiple miles a day as well as be comfortable in wild remote areas. We hunt the vast timberland of northern and eastern Maine. Deer populations are not great but the opportunity to harvest a mature whitetail in the big woods is something people dream about. Pick up a track and walk one down. Still hunt a hardwood ridge, or sit in a comfortable stand looking over well scouted travel areas. All firearm deer hunts are conducted out of a spike camp. You will stay in outfitter tents heated with wood stoves. Portable showers and outhouses are the facilities.
