NLO offers a 6 day fall hunt for black bear between Sept. 1 to Oct. 1. The bear hides at this time of year are in excellent shape and the bears are good and healthy fattening up on berries getting ready for a long sleep. Black bears average 6 foot squared with bears between 6 and a half to 7 feet taken every year. With an opportunity rate of 100% this is a great hunt for the hunter after a black bear with a traditional spot and stalk approach. This is a 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 hunt for up to 4 hunters. With a very strong population of bears there is a 2 bear limit and color phase bears of chocolate and cinnamon are taken yearly. This hunt can also be upgraded to a 10 day moose/bear combination in the fall during the moose rut. For the spot and stalk hunter after a good solid bear with an option for 2 bears this is your hunt. Rates: 2on1 $3500ea. / 1on1 $4500 - Note: 2nd bear tag costs $200 with $1250 trophy fee due upon harvest.
