My brother and I took our dad on a surprise elk hunting trip and chose to use Texas Wildlife. It was all of our first time elk hunting or hiring a guide. Matthew was knowledgeable, accommodating, and always prepared. He communicated well before the hunt, but didn't over promise. He answered all our many questions and we felt prepared when we arrived. The weather was too warm and the elk were not moving much. Matthew was able to adapt his hunting style every day to what was actually happening. He also took our input and adjusted setups to better fit our preferred hunting style. Matthew was great to talk to. It felt like we were hunting with a new best friend. All of Matthew's equipment, side by sides, etc was in great working order. The property he is guiding on is beautiful and a target rich environment. We saw many elk along with, mule deer, elk, and all kinds of bear sign. (Bear were in hibernation). We all 3 had multiple opportunities at elk and were able to all punch our tags with some time to spare. Even if we would have only harvested one elk we would have thought it was a successful trip. We went to Colorado to try out elk hunting and make some great memories. Matthew made sure we had an excellent trip. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

It far exceeded my expectations. It was not just an amazing hunting experience but also a deep dive into Spanish culture. The hunt itself was incredible; Alfonso knows all the secrets of Gredos. The animals, the landscapes and the views were simply breathtaking. I also felt a strong attraction to Spanish culture and wanted to explore it further. Alfonso guided me throughout the trip, helping me understand the essence of Spanish life; whether in small towns or big cities, the delicious cuisine, the famous Spanish wines, the countryside lifestyle, and of course, the bullfighting. We finished the hunt on the first day, so the next day he took me to a bullring. I truly enjoyed the experience. He is also a friend of one of the Spain’s top bullfighters, which allows him to explain the deeper meaning and traditions behind bullfighting. From the moment I arrived at the airport, everything was perfectly arranged: top notch hotels and shelters, amazing food and drinks, smooth transportation, an unforgettable hunt and cultural exploration. I highly recommend Alfonso and his unique services. I will definitely come back. Thank you, Alfonso!

Very nice/clean housing. The owner took me out to the stands he thought had the best game traffic for my hunt. Even offered me his truck to retrieve my game if I didn't wanna use mine. Taught me a lot as a new hunter and provided 99% of what I needed! Will absolutely be back next year and looking forward to my turkey hunt with him here soon!!

The camp atmosphere was similar to a Wisconsin hunting camp, which was nice. The guides tried to stay positive for the most part, even though the group didn’t see many moose.

Thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, food, and evening discussions. The guides knew the area very well and absolutely amazed at the instincts as to where the moose were. Both guides were positive and encouraging on the days hunting was tough, but the commitment from the guides was always up-beat and positive. The care for the game during retrieval, cleaning, and transportation was of high priority, which was greatly appreciated. Guidance was provided for preparation for crossing the Canadian boarder and what to expect. Definitely a place I'd go back to!!

We stalked from the moment we got out of the car until we were successful. Lots of game and excellent trophy quality. Wonderful guides, Ivan and Neil were both exceptional. I will be going back in May.

We liked everything, from relaxing in the cottage,afternoon walks through the countryside with my wife, and just seeing how other places operate.
