Our wild Merriam’s cross turkey are a five way cross producing a really big hybridized turkey. There are plenty of longbeards strutting around and they can be easily heard gobbling. We have prime spots to hunt Nebraska Merriam’s cross turkeys. Open grassland and tree lines offer many hunting opportunities. We have some of the best land for turkey hunting in Nebraska. Our movable ground blinds are available for an incredible hunting experience. We offer a 4 night and 3 day turkey hunt. Hunters arrive the day before they begin their hunt. The greatest reservation a hunter has regarding game ranch is the fair chase concept, Most of our animals have lived their whole lives on the property and know its bounderies and hiding places, escape routes and hide in the deep canyons and heavy tree cover. Hunting area consists of pine covered hills and canyons with lots of cover, No state license or permit is required. We will haul game from hunting area to a walking cooler here on the ranch, you have the option from there to have us skin, gut and process the meat, or you may do it yourself breaking it down into your coolers at no charge.

Your action-packed turkey hunt takes place in Battle Creek, Nebraska in the Elkhorn River Basin. Our excellent habitat conditions make this the perfect home to turkeys anywhere. If you're a bow hunter, come take advantage of our early archery only season, which kicks off in late March. It’s an exciting time of year with us and it's not uncommon to have long beards strut right into your decoys. We scout extensively and do our homework so we strategically place our blinds in key areas. We offer a fully guided hunt, or if you prefer, your guide will turn you loose and you can hunt on your own. All of our hunts are free range and fair chase!
