More about us

Our company was established in 1998 and operates in 2 territories.
  • Animals were born & grew old on the hunting grounds we own & manage, in their natural habitat · not bought in & turned out for the gun. Quotas are set by the practical arithmetic of custodianship: stock numbers, sex ratios & the condition of the veld. Hunting is on foot · walk & stalk, in the spirit of fair chase · never from a truck. Both high-fence & low-fence ground is hunted on varying land sizes from 800 acres to 80 000 acres. We are transparent about where you are harvesting the animals & abide by what you prefer. We do welcome bowhunters but one must be prepared to walk & stalk. As we have plentiful water & vegetation, the animals very rarely visit the blinds.
  • Of course we cater to those looking for a certain trophy size but that is not the primary focus of our hunting. We define trophies as old animals past their breeding time. The areas we hunt are sometimes extremely remote & may only see hunters once or twice a year. Due to this we never know what might step out of the mountains, making every day exciting for hunter & guide alike.
  • The wider truth of the location: the Eastern Cape. Nelson Mandela's home, nicknamed “The Friendly Province”. Truly warm & welcoming in these parts where diverse communities have lived together since the country’s birth. Crime is low in the surroundings & with only two major cities in the province, many live a slow rural life in the mountains or along the coast. Thirty minutes from the Indian Ocean, we have a range of other activities to enjoy during your trip. About this hunt

This is raw, unfenced Africa. The hunting concessions transition from the immense, open grass floodplains and seasonal wetlands (dambos) of the Nkala Plains into dense, ancient miombo woodlands. True to traditional African heritage, safaris here are strictly walk-and-stalk on foot. Vehicles are utilized to navigate the vast distances of the concession, but the actual tracking and pursuits are done tracking game trails through the bush.
