Southeastern ibex hunt in Spain

This is a free-range mountain hunt for Southeastern Spanish ibex in the Sierras Subbéticas of Córdoba, in the heart of Andalusia and inside a UNESCO Global Geopark. It is not a fenced estate and it is not an easy hunt. The ground is limestone karst: broken rock, steep ridges and dense Mediterranean scrub. Footing is uneven and the ibex use the worst of it. We will adapt the hunt to your fitness and to how you like to hunt — we know the ground well enough to choose ridges that suit you, and we can reach a good part of the area by 4x4 — but you should come expecting to walk and to climb. Hunters in reasonable physical condition do well here. Hunters who arrive prepared for a hard day enjoy it most. We hunt by spot and stalk. Days start before first light, glassing from a high point until we find the right animal, then working the wind and the terrain to get within range. Shots are typically taken at moderate to long distance, so bring a rifle you shoot well and confirm your zero before you travel. Dates. This offer is open for November and December 2026, and January 2027. These are the best months here: cool, dry, stable weather and ibex concentrated at lower elevations, which makes for better glassing and shorter approaches. Numbers are limited and we take one hunting party at a time, so you have the ground to yourself. The hunt itself is two full days in the field. We recommend arriving the day before the first hunting day and departing the day after the second, so that travel, paperwork and trophy preparation do not eat into your time on the hill.
