About this hunt

If you have a love for the Great Outdoors, then you are sure to be blown away with our incredible Traditional Woodland Bison Hunts in Northern Alberta! This is like no other Bison hunt that is for sure. Our hunts take place on crown land in remote Northern Alberta. Our average Bison score SCI is over 62 with huge skulls. Shooting a trophy bison is not uncommon, in fact it's the best opportunity on Earth to shoot a free range wild woodland bison. Our remote fly in base camps offer an incredible view of the Boreal forest, excellent quarters, kitchen are stocked with fresh produce, and it is not uncommon to see black bears bears right from our camping location. This hunt offers many exciting adventures during your stay! We have been helping hunters to achieve the goal of harvesting a free range wild Alberta bison with either a gun or bow by putting you with in range with your weapon. We do this by taking hunters on personally guided hunts in the best wild wood bison hunting areas available in Alberta. We have a intimate knowledge of bison, travel movements and territories. In Alberta we have several free ranging herds of trophy bison, of which only a few areas are hunted. It is a fact that the wild bison have always existed in these ranges and man has never pushed them out of the area. We know of nowhere else in North America where you can hunt native, free ranging bison in their natural habitat.

Where you will stay

Blue Sky Lodge

Hotel accommodations upon arrival and departing in Grande Prairie or Edmonton, if necessary. (about $125 us). we can arrange accommodations for you upon request. We arrange accommodations at our lodge or a bed & breakfast within the areas we will be hunting. Good food will have us over eating and sharing some hunting stories when we return from the morning hunt. after brunch you can relax, stretch your legs with a nature walk, grab a nap, or visit until it is time to head out for the evening shoot. Evenings at the lodge are spent sharing a home cooked meal, and then a good visit recounting stories. Early retiring to rest and relax for the next days hunt. All our lodge facilities have satellite television for our guests to relax and catch up on world events.

Travel to our location is through Edmonton or Calgary with connecting flights to Peace River ground transportation will be provided to our hunting area. Prior to leaving, please confirm your travel arrangements as we need to know your with us to ensure everything flows smoothly.

Except for transferring deposits to a friend, all deposits are fully non-refundable. the deposits cannot be transferred to a future year.
deposits will be refunded in full, if for some reason we must cancel a hunt.
