From well-concealed vantage points, your guide will help interpret the calls of gobblers in the distance and teach you how to mimic their sounds, drawing the feathered giants out of thick cover. The woods come alive with soft clucks, yelps, and the echoing “gobble” that signals a mature tom nearby. Pennsylvania spring gobbler season, the regular statewide season runs from May 2 to May 30, with a special one-day youth/mentored hunt on April 25. The season is for bearded birds only, with a daily limit of 1 & a season limit of 2 (second tag required). Rhode Island: For 2026, the Rhode Island spring gobbler (turkey) season runs from April 30 – May 24, 2026. Youth (April 20–26, 2026) and Paraplegic (April 25–26, 2026) seasons are held prior to the main season. Hunters may take two bearded birds total, with limitations on state land
