Brendan grew up on his family farm high in the Stormberg Mountains, where a deep-rooted hunting heritage and life outdoors shaped his path from an early age. With over 15 years’ experience as a Professional Hunter, a Dangerous Game licence, and extensive time in the field on both plains game and dangerous game safaris, he is widely respected for his calm nature, strong fieldcraft, and consistent shot placement.
After years guiding in South Africa and abroad — including time in Tanzania as a skipper and fishing guide — Brendan founded Garland Hunting Safaris in 2023. Today, he offers authentic, fair-chase hunting experiences across the Eastern Cape, giving clients access to a wide range of plains game species in varied landscapes, delivered with integrity, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

KUDU PACKAGE HUNT We focus on species that occur in significant numbers within our hunting areas, ensuring a 100% success rate for our clients. Brendan has access to the full suite of plains game species across the Eastern Cape, thanks to his long-standing relationships with surrounding landowners, conservancies, and game reserves. This ensures that clients can pursue a wide variety of high-quality animals—from common plains species to premium trophy opportunities—across diverse and well-managed hunting terrains. Duration: 8 full hunting days, 9 nights. Hunters: 1 Hunter x 1 Professional Hunter Trophies: 5 animals 1 x Eastern Cape Kudu 1 x Black Wildebeest 1 x Blue Wildebeest 1 x Red Hartebeest 1 x Impala OBSERVERS: Welcome @ $200 per day ADDITION DAYS/ANIMALS: May be added to the package as per the price list .
