Alberta Coyote for 2 Hunters

The Terrain is pretty open on average with some big bush on the north end of our hunting area, also certain ranges of big hills and coulies we can hunt as well. We will try to tailor the calling setups to your comfort level and interests, from exiting bush calling with a quick handling rifle or shotgun all the way out to extreme long range if that's what you want to focus on. You will need to bring warm clothing we recommend down, and a layer that will stop the wind. If your clothing isn't white or snow camouflage we can lend you a thin over white layer that will slip over your clothing as coyotes are pretty keen and will spot you if you don't blend in. We also recommend a long flexible bipod to get the gun over snow and grass but other devices like tripods/shooting sticks or monopods work ok if you are experienced in using them. 223 is the minimal cartridge we would recommend for velocity as far shots are possible especially if a double or triple comes into the call, a 22-250 is ideal and anything over a 243 is overkill. Firearms that are brought must be bolt guns as the ar15 family of rifles and most other semi auto rifles are banned in Canada. If you do not own a suitable rifle or prefer not to bring it we will have guns to rent for $35 USD a day plus the ammunition that you shoot at the going rate.
