- Inzana Outfitters is a big game hunting operation located in North Central British Columbia, Canada. We have the exclusive guiding rights to over 3000 square miles of territory. Paul and Marilyn Trepus bought the guide business in 1999 and have a great team of guides and cooks that work hard to provide top notch world class hunting adventurers.
- Our territory spans the continental divide with water in the north flowing to the famous Nation Lakes and on to the Arctic Ocean, while water in the south flows to the Fraser River and on to the Pacific Ocean. Inzana Outfitters has all the scenic beauty that makes British Columbia so amazing, from the high alpine mountain ranges to the rolling timbered hills and aspen forests. We have over 200 lakes including Takla Lake (the 5th largest lake in BC). The outflowing Middle River is a salmon-bearing river and has produced Rainbow trout up to 14 lbs. Other native game fish species include Lake trout and Dolly Varden trout. The lower elevation areas are managed forests and we have a good mix of new and old clear cuts which provide excellent moose and wildlife habitat, and sustain the highest moose densities.
- Inzana Outfitters specializes in full service big game hunting adventures including Moose Hunting, Black Bear Hunting, Elk Hunts and Wolf Hunting. All hunting packages include your accommodations, meals, transportation around our guiding area and a professional licensed guide.
About this hunt
Inzana Outfitters has it all when it comes to big trophy Black Bears. BC is well known for having the highest density of Black Bears in North America and with our salmon spawning rivers, abundant berries and 3000 square miles of prime remote bear habitat, our bears get big. We have produced top quality trophy bears every year by managing our harvest very carefully and focus on harvesting big mature Boar Bears.
Our Spring Black Bear Hunts are spot and stalk fair chase hunts with over 100% success rates for the last 20 years. Our spring bear hunters usually see between 20 to 60 bears during a five-day hunt, the weather being a huge factor.
In the Spring we hunt the clear cuts and logging roads and focus on areas that have south facing exposures as these areas green up first, the big Boars also begin the rut in May. With the high density of bears in our area we are able to focus on harvesting Mature Trophy Bears with record book bears harvested each spring. These spring bears have beautiful winter coats that make exceptional rugs and mounts. Most of our Black Bears square out between 6 foot and 7 foot.

- A 40% deposit is required on all bookings, with the balance due 30 days before the start of the hunt. Personal checks are only accepted in advance.
