Alaska Fall Black Bear

Our black bear hunts are conducted on Prince of Wales Island, Alaska, aboard the M/V Denali, from Aug 1st- Dec 31st. Known for its rich black bear habitat, the island’s rugged coastlines and small lagoons create the perfect setting for spotting and stalking black bears. Your hunt begins with a flight into Ketchikan, followed by a charter flight to Klawock, where you’re Guides will be waiting to pick you up. We will take time to purchase any other necessary gear, food or alcohol then board the Denali. This boat will be your base throughout the hunt, as we use skiffs to access remote areas. Guides will lead spot-and-stalk hunts, taking you into the heart of bear territory. Fishing will also be included during your black bear hunt. You can spend mornings fishing or checking crab pots before we start bear hunting in the afternoon. We offer full trophy preparation services, including field dressing and skinning, and can assist in shipping your bear’s skull and cape for further processing.
