About this hunt
We will stalk impressive Iberian red stags in fully open terrain within the famous Sierra de la Culebra region — a historical hotspot for Spain’s largest free-range trophies. This experience includes 2 days of hunting and 2 nights in the northwest of the country (Culebra and Sanabaria area), where the abundance and quality of the deer make it a national reference. Hunting is conducted with no CIC score limit, aiming to harvest the largest possible stag or the one that best fits the hunter’s preferences. The season runs from September to February, with peak excitement during the rutting season ("Berrea") between late September and mid-October, when the forests echo with the powerful mating calls of the stags.

Territory
This hunting area in the Sierra de la Culebra (Zamora) offers one of the most authentic free-range red stag experiences in Spain. The estate covers 4,000 hectares of open and wild terrain bordering the La Culebra Public Reserve, known for holding the largest free-range red stags in the country.
Managed by the same owners since 2005, it benefits from consistent habitat care and a sustainable, low-pressure hunting model.
The landscape is truly natural, with oak forests, open plains, rolling hills and a large reservoir. This creates a challenging environment ideal for hunters seeking real wild hunting, where close-range encounters with mature stags are common.
Stag density is high, with strong trophy quality, making top-level stags achievable. It is also one of the most special places to experience the Iberian red stag rut.
