Plains game hunting in the Eastern Cape offers a unique experience amidst diverse terrains, from rolling hills to expansive grasslands. The region is home to a wide variety of species, including kudu, impala, and warthog, making it a popular destination for hunters seeking challenging and rewarding hunts. The Eastern Cape's rich biodiversity and the ethical management of its game populations ensure a sustainable hunting environment, attracting enthusiasts from around the world.
MINIMUM HUNT DURATION: 5 hunting days & 6 nights. The day of arrival is a hunting day and with the departure day, this safari requires a total of 7 days.
ADDITIONAL DAYS: Can be booked at the regular rate.
HUNTERS: 2 Hunters x 1 Professional Hunter. The quoted price is per hunter.

The hunting areas are vast with a tremendous variety of species available to the serious hunter.
Here we have several very large concessions where you are accommodated in either very comfortable thatched-style bush camps or in the original ranch style homesteads, some well over 100 years old. Typical South African dishes are served with outstanding locally produced wines. This area consists of a wide variety of habitats, varying from coastal brush and valleys to the Winterberg Mountain range 7000ft up in some places. Species typical to the region are Blue Duiker, Grysbuck, Bushpig, Caracal, Oribi, Mountain Reedbuck, Vaal Rhebuck, Cape Bushbuck, and Eastern Cape Kudu, White Springbuck, Black Springbuck, Common Springbuck, White Blesbuck, Nyala, Hartebeest, Red Lechwe amongst many others.

Accommodation is in the form of 5 private cottages sleeping 2, each with a lounge area and fireplace. A private bathroom. The central entertainment area is where meals and drinks are served, either inside or under the stars. The swimming pool is also in this area with sun-loungers.

Cancellation
In case of cancellation within a period 180 days prior to the commencement of the hunting season, no refunds can be made. All other cancellations: a 5% on the hunt cost administration fee will be applied. Loss of hunting days due to illness, lost luggage, delayed flights, etc is at clients expense.Wounding
