Our company was established in 2001 and operates in 3 territories.
Jake has been hunting moose since the age of 12. He has over 30 years of experience guiding in Manitoba, Alberta, B.C., the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. Cecilia, grew up hunting, fishing and camping with her family in the Northwest Territories. They started guiding together in a sheep camp, in the Yukon, in 1997. They outfitting in 2001 with an archery-only whitetail outfit in Manitoba. After several years, they decided to move on to different opportunities; Jake as an Environmental Scientist, and Cecilia as an Occupational Therapist. But it didn’t work – they could not get the outfitting bug out of their system. In 2011, they decided it was time to get back to the life they love. They now offer a wide variety of hunting and fishing adventures in 3 different territories.About this hunt
Dates: May - June 2024 - 6 nights in camp and 5 full days of hunting.
Camp - 10 miles past ‘the end of the road’, is our base camp, an old-school trappers’ camp on the banks of the Torch River. To get there you will travel by 4wd truck, ATV, and boat… It’s an adventure.
- The hunts are not particularly physically demanding, but you must be able to ‘get around’ – in and out of boats, and tree stands, up and down muddy river banks - and you must be able to travel on quads, boats and who knows what else.
- Max group size of 6 hunters/week
Game Quality: We expect all our hunters to harvest mature boars.
Hunt Includes:
- Accommodation: 2 log guest cabins, which can comfortably sleep 6 guests.
- Meals:
- Multiple pre-baited stands, scouted with trail cameras, for guides to select from.
- Guides provide transport to/from baited stands (via boat and/or ATV).
- Bear retrieval, skinning and prep for transport home or to a taxidermist (usually freezing).
- Fishing available in the river at camp. The quality of the fishing varies with the water levelst!
