This is a fun hunt to do either on your own or with a couple buddies or family members. It makes for a great day and is very kid friendly! We have several prairie dog towns on our private ranch providing for hours of shooting. Your trigger finger will get tired! We generally suggest bringing at least 300-400 rounds of ammunition per day per person. There are several stores in the town of Sheridan to purchase more if you need.

This is an amazing DIY Archery Elk Camp located in Southwestern Colorado. This camp drops you off into the middle of Elk Country, our groups in the past have always seen elk and got shot opportunities during their hunts. This camp also offers excellent mule deer hunting, if you have preference points and can draw a tag. You are able to drive into this camp via a private road but all hunting is on foot from there. This camp has 800 acres of private property to hunt as well as thousands of hard to access acres of non-motorized National Forest. This is a true DIY hunt, we take you into the camp help you get settled, provide a map or onx points of suggested hunting areas and then the rest is up to you. A unique feature of this camp is that you can glass a lot of country from camp and listen to them bugle at night. This camp is setup for groups of 4 at $1750 per person, groups of 3 at $2000 per person, groups of 2 or solo guys may book but may have to share a camp.

I have guided hunts for the last 20 years. The hunts take place on Philmont Scout Ranch, a very well know ranch located in the Sangre de Cristo mountains in north eastern New Mexico. We guide bear and mountain lion hunts with hounds. Travel is on a side by side or horseback for those who want the horseback experience. I have over half a million acres of private land that I hunt. I also hunt a few other ranches that are not Philmont but are ranches on private land located in New Mexico. All the hunts are a five day hunt. Bear hunts are $4,ooo . This price does not include meals and lodging. We have meals and lodging available for and additional $1,000 per hunt. A non refundable 40 % deposit is required upon booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival for the hunt. The hunt can be rescheduled the same year if an opening is available. If the hunt is booked the following year there is a 10% administrative fee.

This hunt is primarily conducted off horses and mules. We ride deep into cougar country following travel ways and scrape lines left behind by giant toms as they roam around in search of promising females. A scrape is a way cougars use to communicate to one another about each others territory and boundaries. Scrapes are also used as a calling card to bring breeding pairs closer together. Not an activitity that happens as regularly during winter months. Having keen knowledge of these special behaviors and the areas they take place, gives us huge advantages in locating and harvesting these magnificent creatures.It is hard to describe the pleasure one gets watching his hounds learn and progress. Nothing puts their skills to the test like free casting them off horse back in bare ground condition. They learn to work as a team by fanning out and individually searching for the smallest amount of cougar scent. Then they ban together, noses to the ground helping each other move the track forward as fast as they possibly can without making mistakes. Often times this happens in conditions where there is no visible sign for man to see. This leaves us nothing to rely on but the narutal instincts of their noses. No other time of the year can you experience this type of spectacular hound work. Please note that education course is obligatory for this hunt.

This is a 12 day trip, with 10 full days of hunting, September 5th – 16th. On top of the large moose in our exclusive area, wolf and wolverine harvest are at NO charge as long as the required permits through the Alaska Department of Fish and Game are purchased prior to the hunt and the seasons are open. Hunt options: We have a base camp/spike camp option for moose hunting. Our camps are all accessed via bush plane on wheels or floats, located in a prime glassing spot overlooking meadows, lakes and ponds. Hunters should fly into Anchorage on September 3rd and to King Salmon the morning of September 4th. Transportation into the field will occur on September 5th for the start legal hunting on September 6th. Transportation out of the field will be on September 16th, or before if animal is harvested. All weather depending. Commercial flights from King Salmon to Anchorage should be scheduled with a refundable ticket for the morning of September 18th. All guides have CPR and First Aid training and advanced courses in medical training (example – wilderness first responder or wilderness first aid). All guides will have and carry with them into the field each day: satellite phones, personal locator beacons, and GPS to provide a very safe hunt. Lodging in the field: One 10 x 10 sleep tent and a 8 x 8 cook tent will be used(or similar). Tents will be of the highest quality and include Alaska Tent and Tarp Arctic Ovens, Bombshelter tents, Cabela’s Outfitter tents or a combination. Meals will consist of fresh cooked and freeze dried meals. Modifications can be made upon request.

This sprawling private cattle ranch was only sporadically hunted by a few family members until recently. Sportsmen will appreciate the opportunities for abundant game that roam the ranch in Southeast Nebraska. We offer a 3 day and 2 night predator hunt. Open grassland and tree lines offer many hunting opportunities for predators such as fox, coyote, bobcat, and badger. We will provide you with a map of the property along with locations where you can hunt. Hunters are able to spotlight and hunt at night in Nebraska. You may choose to hunt with a call and decoy, spot and stock, or hunt over bait. Our movable ground blinds are available. Hunting license and permits can be purchased at https://ngpc-home.ne.gov/. Out of state resident’s will need a small game permit and furbearers license. Nebraska residents will need a furbearers license. Hunters can also enjoy excellent catch and release fishing when they are not hunting. Our 20-acre boomerang lake is stocked with large-mouthed bass, northern pike, bluegill, catfish, and crappie.

Our camp located near the famous areas of Pilot Point, and Cinder River offers waterfowl hunters great gunning for Canada geese and puddle ducks. Next to Izembek Lagoon this area holds the largest population of cackling, lesser, and Aleutian Canada geese as well as 1000’s of puddle ducks. We will fly out to the hunting grounds every morning and hunt many different locations along the beaches. This area is full of lakes and ponds as well as berry fields where the birds feed. Large spreads of decoys and layout blinds provide hunters with non-stop action. During this time the silver salmon and arctic char fishing is world class during this time also, an afternoon of fishing is a good way to top off this world class adventure. Alaska offers some of the best seaduck hunting there is to offer, and our hunts on Kodiak are unmatched. We only take 2 hunters at a time for this 5-day hunt, and we are the only guide in Alaska with a scull boat. We are able to collect up to 13 species of birds on this hunt. You will be personally guided by Phil Byrd who has a lifetime of waterfowl hunting experience.
