Waterfowl hunting has been a long standing tradition at our Camp. A tradition that continues today over the large natural wild rice lakes that are common to our area. From approximately the last week in September until the middle of October the fall migration is at it’s peak. Our hunters view the expanse of the lakes from dry, comfortable blinds (we supply all the decoys). A compliment to the many species of ducks are the Greater Canadian geese that annually frequent the area. A set of floating Canadian decoys is standard next to our duck sets. This helps to pull the largest geese in North America into range. WATERFOWL PACKAGES - $999.00 (USD) PER PERSON Included is the guided waterfowl hunting with all blinds, decoy's, etc. and accommodations in our waterfront cabins. (This waterfowl package does not include meals or any guided fishing.) Daily bag limit of ducks is 8 with a possession limit of 24. The limit for geese is 5 per day with a possession limit of 15. The only thing you need to bring p is your weapon of choice, and your clothing requirements. Once your hunt is booked a detailed list will be sent with the items we feel would be important for you to bring along. Hunters that are guests at our camp stay in our new fully modern waterfront cabins which are equipped with televisions, VCRs, wood-burning stoves, and all the amenities of home. This is no tent camp experience. The comfort level is first class. Meals are prepared and served in our main lodge and dining area and as our past customers will attest, our home cooking is second to none. After dinner hours when our guests are relaxing we provide complimentary movies. This is a rugged Manitoba wilderness hunt with all the comforts of home.

Upland Game Birds open after September 15 The primary species that hunters come to Saskatchewan for are Greater Canada Geese, Cacklers, Snow & Blue Geese, Ross Geese and White-fronted Geese, which is also known as a Specklebelly. We have 27 different species of ducks in our hunting area including Mallards, Pintails, Blue and Green Winged Teals, Widgeons, Northern Shovelers, Red Heads, and Canvasbacks to name a few. There is also an opportunity to hunt Sand Hill Cranes as they migrate through the area. Limits Canada Geese – 8 per day per hunter. Possession – 24. Snow and Blue Geese – 20 per day per hunter. Possession – 60. Specklebellies – 5 per day per hunter. Possession – 15. Ducks – 8 per day per hunter. Possession – 24. Sandhill Cranes – 5 per day per hunter. Possession – 15. Bookings are done on a “first come, first serve” basis; only a deposit will hold a spot. Reserve the dates you or your group prefers. Upon your afternoon arrival, you’ll get settled into your room in the lodges then be able to cook your dinner or meet at a local restaurant where you’ll get details of the next day's hunt The next morning, you’ll follow your guide to the hunting location, or meet your hunting party there if you wish to sleep a few minutes longer. We fully welcome help setting up the decoys from interested guests, but you are also welcome to just relax with a cup of coffee and a light snack while we set everything up. We will target geese and ducks on these hunts. After the hunt, you will return to the lodges to eat and relax. If the morning hunt did not provide limits or very close to limits and we can legally hunt the afternoon for the species we need to fill limits on, your guide will then provide information on the afternoon hunt. We can clean your birds for a fee, or you can clean your own with our equipment. We clean birds daily and fully expect none will be wasted. Check in is at 4pm the arrival day - Check out is by 12:00 pm on the last day or the hunt after hunting the morning We hunt twice a day unless limits of 2 species were takin during the morning hunt.

A very close area from town that allow you to spend a few days of good bird shooting. At Veracruz you can hunt different species of ducks depending on the time of the year. Duck shooting features comfortable and well camouflaged blinds. The shooting occurs on the shores of San Javier Rivers, over some of the hundreds of islands or over rice fields. We shoot twice a day, morning and evening. To the blinds will be from 20 minutes to an hour, including car or boat ride. Shooting over decoys starts at first light and continues until 10 am or after. Depending on the skills of the shooter, the limit of 30 ducks per hunt can be reached in 30 to 45 minutes. Most days, duck hunters return to the lodge for lunch and a siesta before afternoon departure at about 3pm for evening duck hunts. Perdiz over dogs is a great choice to hunt. They are fast and challenging. Beautiful walks over grassland. 20 to 40 minutes’ drive to get there. Dogs hunt with us. Season goes from May to July. We offer two options for dove shooting as well.

The area is located near the Warta River Mouth (estuary) National Park. It's a unique, remarkable place where birds live & migrate to in the hundreds of thousands. The closest airports are Poznan or Berlin-Schonefeld. Price for 1 goose downed is 32 EUR. Ducks optional at a price of 19 EUR per animal.

Early on the morning we hunt on the river during day we move on fields and hunt from blinds. Early morning breakfast around 4am and then head out to the field to set up the decoys and blinds for a morning waterfowl hunt. The morning hunt is a great experience with lots of Snow Geese, Canada Geese, Specklebelly Geese, Sandhill Cranes and ducks filling the skies. We use many Snow Goose decoys, flyers, and rotary decoys, as well as electronic goose call to our birds. You will see over ten species of ducks and over five sub species of Canada geese ranging from Giant Greaters to small Cacklers in staggering numbers. Goose season remains open into December, but the peak period is usually the final week of September through mid to late October in this province Around 10 am or when we limit out we head back to the lodge for brunch and relax until we are ready to venture out for our evening duck hunt. After our evening shoot, we have prepared for you a home-made supper, and spend the night relaxing and relive the day’s hunt.
