We offer you guided hunting safaris on our exquisite game ranch just south of Windhoek, Namibia. There are 25 species of plains game on 60 000 acres of privately owned land, making this game ranch the perfect location for plains game hunting. To ensure the ultimate hunting experience combined with appreciating the unique Namibian environment we recommend planning your hunting trip to last around 10 to 12 days (hunting season starts on 1 February and ends on 30 November). Our policy of not taking double bookings can make your dream come true of being the only hunter/group on 94 square miles / 243 square km free range. Together with a success rate of 90% of the hunting trophies acquired on the ranch qualifying for gold medals according to the Namibian quality control system hunters are guaranteed of a successful hunting safari. A typical hunting day will start bright and early before sunrise with a hearty breakfast buffet. The hunting method employed is spotting and stalking. (recommended rifles - .270 thru to .300). Depending on the success of the hunt, lunch will be served either at the lodge or on the plains as not to interrupt the progress made on the hunting safari. Hunting will continue into the afternoon if so desired by the guests or visit the cheetahs and attend a cheetah feeding. For Leopard and Cheetah hunt minimum of 14 hunting days required. There is no minimum hunting days requirement but we recommend 7 hunting days. 50% discount on daily rates on any safari booked in March, April, October and November! This unique change in biospheres results in huge animal diversity. the landscape and habitats vary from deep wide valley bushveld with thick riverine bush, home of the Eastern Cape Kudu as well as Cape Bushbuck, Nyala, Warthog, and Bush pig. The sides of the valleys/canyons make for great vantage points. A lot of time is spent at theses elevated points glassing for trophies. On the plateau above the valley lies the savanna and scattered woodlands. This is home to species such as Impala, Sable, Zebra, Waterbuck and Mountain Reedbuck. These plateaus also make great vantage points for glassing and the start of many long stalks. The savanna gradually gives way to the long rolling Bedford plains which were once the place of vast animal migrations across the Eastern Cape. These plains are where Springbuck, Blesbok and Black Wildebeest are found and often ambushed from behind the endless anthills which make for good hiding places. These plains give way to the Kaggaberg Mountain range with valleys and box canyons, home to the Eland, Cape Bushbuck and Kudu.

SELF-CATERING, TENTED CAMP (SADC citizens only) The habitat is distinctly and pre-dominantly African Lowveld with sweetgrass, many tall trees such as leadwood, knob-thorn and marula as well as low shrub-like trees mostly consisting of Grewia species. Hunting in this bush environment is challenging but most satisfactory as it is only conducted on foot. We fall outside the foot and mouth disease control area, in the Lowveld of Limpopo, South Africa. Accordingly, all meat and venison, including buffalo meat, may be transported to the rest of South Africa with the necessary permits which we will provide. We can accommodate a maximum of 10 people. Hunters and Non-hunters are charged at the same rate. The Eastern Cape boasts 6 out of 7 vegetation biomes and is the most ecologically diverse of South Africa's provinces. This diversity in turn supports a large number of plains game species; from kudu in savannah bushveld, to klipspringer in the craggy mountain peaks and bushbuck in the coastal forests. The Eastern Cape offers an unrivalled variety of hunting opportunities. The area from Uitenhage to Steytlerville is acknowledged as having the highest density of kudu in the world. Every year, 25,000 kudu are hunted in the Eastern Cape. We enjoyed a 100% success rate for kudu in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. During this period 24 out of 24 hunters who had a kudu on their wish list shot a trophy kudu, some chose to hunt a second one.
