Our farm boasts a wide variety of game, including Eland, Kudu, Oryx, Red Hartebeest, Springbuck, Zebra, Warthog, Klipspringer, Ostrich, Black Backed Jackal, Baboon and Leopard. In addition, we offer an even greater variety of game on our concession areas such as Blue and Black Wildebeest, Blesbok, Impala, Waterbuck and much more. If we don’t have what you are looking for, we’ll go out of our way to find it for you. Guests on our farm can choose between the luxuriously appointed guest suites at the main farmhouse, or, for the more adventurous or budget conscious amongst you, at our tented chalets at Bobbejaan Dam. Meals are served in our well - appointed lapa, or around the campfire at Bobbejaan Dam; where you can enjoy traditional African cuisine whilst admiring our spectacular evening sunsets, overlooking a waterhole. We offer you guided hunting safaris on our exquisite game ranch just south of Windhoek, Namibia. There are 25 species of plains game on 60 000 acres of privately owned land, making this game ranch the perfect location for plains game hunting. To ensure the ultimate hunting experience combined with appreciating the unique Namibian environment we recommend planning your hunting trip to last around 10 to 12 days (hunting season starts on 1 February and ends on 30 November). Our policy of not taking double bookings can make your dream come true of being the only hunter/group on 94 square miles / 243 square km free range. Together with a success rate of 90% of the hunting trophies acquired on the ranch qualifying for gold medals according to the Namibian quality control system hunters are guaranteed of a successful hunting safari. A typical hunting day will start bright and early before sunrise with a hearty breakfast buffet. The hunting method employed is spotting and stalking. (recommended rifles - .270 thru to .300). Depending on the success of the hunt, lunch will be served either at the lodge or on the plains as not to interrupt the progress made on the hunting safari. Hunting will continue into the afternoon if so desired by the guests or visit the cheetahs and attend a cheetah feeding. For Leopard and Cheetah hunt minimum of 14 hunting days required. There is no minimum hunting days requirement but we recommend 7 hunting days. 50% discount on daily rates on any safari booked in March, April, October and November! Our concessions range from the Mpumalanga Escarpment at 6700 ft above sea level to the Bushveld of the Limpopo province. We have a specialist concession for our Bow Hunters that will provide you with ample hunting opportunities. Our rifle hunting concessions are well managed and we do offer culling packages from time to time on these concessions. Our wing shooting concessions are carefully managed and we will only hunt a covey once a season thereby ensuring we have not destroyed the covey and we can hunt the same area the next season. We work closely with our concession owners to ensure that the conservation of animals takes paramount importance. A percentage of the money spent by our clients on safari will find its way into conservation and especially anti-poaching operations.

We hunt various concessions totalling over 30000 acres. Each concession has different terrains, some mountainous, some with rivers and small dams, that each contribute to providing different hunting environments and hosts many of the species in their natural preferred habitats. In autumn and winter, we can be out all day hunting due to milder temperatures. In the summer months, hunting occurs early morning, beak over midday and continue late afternoon till dusk. More foliage and cover, tracking and hunting after some fresh rainfall, perfect night-time temperatures and all the baby calves running around makes summer hunts even more special. Bowhunting is done mostly from a blind, at a waterhole or a feeding spot. Rifle hunters normally hunt walking and stalking but can use a blind if the species or situation requires it. Dangerous game hunts are only done on foot, and our long-range hunts are either walk and stalk, or from a perch, or mountain.
