We specialize in bear hunts and our customers are our #1 priority. Its more than just a hunt, we're creating memories that last a lifetime! I've been working in the outdoors for 40 years, first as a warden , and later as a logger. All those years in the forest has brought me in close contact with wildlife, in areas that few people ever venture into. For the past 20 years, I have been providing guide services in Green River Canada, the heart of black bear country. We don't hire guides from Canada we live here and guide you personally. If you need any assistance in your bow hunting equipment we can help you. Your distance varies from thirteen to seventeen yards at the bait site. You stay with us in our recently-built camp.

Loved the cabin, and the experience! Different type of hunting than we are used to, but we saw and harvested bears.

Only wish we would have seen bigger bears. THere were big ones on camera and the next group who came in after us killed a couple of monsters.

Steve Kovack is the owner of this guide service and has multiple guides that work with him. On my trip we had Gino who was an excellent and humorous guide. Prior to arriving at Bear camp Steve was available to answer all my questions in regard to logistics and equipment necessary to make my hunt much more comfortable and successful. During our hunting days Steve and Gino worked extremely hard to make sure the hunters had the best opportunity to harvest a bear. They would go out each morning and check the bait sites and the cameras and would put the hunters on the best sites for the day. Steve and Gino really care about the hunters being successful and do everything in their power to give us hunters every chance to harvest a bear. Steve works with a local butcher (Kevin) who is also a taxidermist. Kev does great work at a very affordable price. While I have been on bear hunts previously, I have never harvested a bear, and on this trip, I got two. I learned a lot about bears from Steve and Gino, which made this a fantastic and memorable trip for me.

Remember their are no guarantees in a hunt!!

Accommodations, scenery, hunt locations, guides did everything in their control to bring in bears at hunt location.

Mosquitoes, unmaintained tree stands-strap broke when in stand, no seat pads. Only hunted 5 hours in the evenings. I only saw one bear for 10 seconds the whole week. One other hunter shot babies (young bears)
