“Alaska Hunting” is a small hunting operation based in the Alaska Range. Owner, Luke Miller is a Registered Guide and Commercial Pilot with 14,000 hours of flying experience. Alaska Hunting consist of a small staff of guides and only takes 8 hunters a year because we believe that quality not quantity is what makes the experience and why most hunters return two to three times. We have a wide range of equipment including two aircraft, a Cessna 180 and a Piper Super Cub and a few Jet-boats. The country we hunt is very diverse, we hunt from around sea-level up to 5,000 feet in the Alaska Range. At and around sea-level the land is thick. In some situations, we use tree-stands and you can expect no longer than a 100-yard shot for a bear or moose. As we move by plane from the main lodge up into the Alaska Range, the country starts to open up at around 1200 feet. The highest we have boats located is around 1500 feet. For the most part, everything above 1500 feet we rely on aircraft and our own two feet to get around. If you are looking for a personalized hunting experience in Alaska, look no further.
