Color Phase oppt Bear Hunt 2025
Alberta, Canada

More about us
Our company was established in 1978 and operates in 1 territory.
- At Plihal's Guiding and Outfitting, we are passionate about hunting and outfitting and sharing our knowledge with others. We started this business in 1978 with the goal of providing an exceptional experience for our clients. We represent one of the larger outfitters in the Peace/Smoky River area. Boasting 40 years in business without a wildlife or criminal offense, we have one of the cleanest, long standing outfitting records in Alberta. This is four decades with an impeccable record.
- Equally impressive, we think, is that our business has never been asked to appear before the disciplinary committee of the Alberta Professional Outfitters' Society, and in a business brimming with potential ethics and conduct issues, we think this is an achievement."
- Our experienced guides are dedicated to ensuring your safety and enjoyment. We offer a range of services, including bear, moose and both whitetail and mule deer. Our packages allow you to create your own adventure, and we can cater to individuals, families, and groups.
- Let us show you the Peace Country like you have never seen it before! Reach out to 25 year veteran guide and outfitter Emily Plihal today to book your hunt.
About this hunt
Alberta TWO bear baited black bear hunts! Black, chocolate, blonde, cinnamon, brown and
mottled colours!
We spend a month prior to the hunt ensuring each bait is refreshed in a timely fashion,
promising a successful hunt for our clients. You will sit in different stands through the week (we
do not keep you in one) and we will rotate where you sit depending on bear activity.
Trophy after trophy, giant bears of blonde, cinnamon, brown, chocolate, and, of course, black
colour phase. With quality and quantity baits as well as year round scouting of protected hunt
sites and monitoring of giant bear movements, our marquee hunt features attention to detail in
preparation for your hunt.
We put the time in to make sure clients aren't just shooting another bear. Cheaper hunts? Sure,
there are some, but the old cliche you get what you pay for doesn't only apply to cars.
We take a maximum of 14 bear hunters per year and no more than 6 per week in areas we
have continually baited for four decades.
Normal cost is $5,500 plus $500 licenses. Book Before Feb. 15 with a group of 4 and save
$1,000 per hunter. (Total $4,500 plus $500 licenses=$5,000).
