BUSHMANLAND "BIG TUSKER" ELEPHANT In Bushmanland the habitat consists of prehistoric dunes that were formed millions of years ago when sand was blown into the region from the Namib Desert. Over the millennium the sand settled and the huge dunes overgrew with huge trees and lush vegetation due to the subtropical climate and high rainfall. The Dune "Streets" in between the dunes have more clay soil which allows more climax grass species to grow. Due to yearly fires, these streets have turned into lush plains with highly palatable grass and acacia trees which is excellent habitat for grass-feeding antelope. The dunes are covered in raisin bush and other palatable trees for browsers. PACKAGE INCLUDES DURATION: 14 full hunting days & 15 nights. The day of arrival and a portion of the departure day can be used for hunting. This safari requires a total of 16 days. ADDITIONAL DAYS: Can be booked at the regular rate. HUNTERS: 1 x Hunter and 1 x Professional Hunter TROPHY: 1 x Trophy Elephant under 60 lbs. Trophy Elephant: Over 70lbs @ $75,750 OBSERVER(S): $250 per person per day.
