2025 Black Bear Hunt *Special*

Nova Scotia Black Bear Hunt over bait. This hunt is 5 days Monday to Friday, but we book our guests 6 nights as you will arrive on Sunday, hunt Monday to Friday and depart on the Saturday. We do not mix this camp, so each week could have 1-4 hunters of the same group, but no other hunters mixed in. Hunt Dates available; Oct 12th-18th Oct 26th-Nov 1st This is European Style hunt where you will need to provide your own food for the week and cook your own meals. You will be staying at our off-grid cabin about an hour drive from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. We provide free airport pickup and drop-off, and can take you to a local grocery store to purchase your groceries for the week. All linens are provided and there is an outdoor toilet and outdoor shower, as well as there is propane cookstoves and a BBQ as well as a woodstove for heat. Lanterns and candles for lights as this cabin is completely off grid, but can be drove into. We typically only hunt the last 4hrs of daylight each afternoon/evening as this is when the bears are most active at our baits. Your guide will pick you up at the cabin each afternoon by ATV and place you in your own stand over your own bait site, and will be on standby nearby should you need anything. You will be picked up just after dark each evening and taken back to the cabin for the night. Any bears killed will be taken to a local butcher shop to be skinned and hung, but any taxidermy or meat processing will be at your own expense. Hides and skulls can be flash frozen for transport within Canada or US, but all other countries must be taken to a local taxidermist as they must be shipped later with a CITES Permit.
