We are a small family operated business and we have lived in the area all our lives. . Offering Private wilderness lodging at the south-east shores of the Aulneau Peninsula within Lake Of The Wood’s, Northwest Ontario, Canada. All of our Ontario fishing & hunting cabins are equipped with all the necessities of home. We understand that your vacation time is precious so we do everything in our power to ensure your time with us is well spent. We pride ourselves in our outstanding combination fishing and Lake of the Woods hunting trips. Whether it be the family vacation, the buddies fishing trip or a trophy hunt our area has it all. 2025 pricing for 2 hunters - ($2200 per person)
High population of bear in the area. You will experience close to 100% success rate with our hunt! Average size of bear is in the 200lbs range. Not uncommon to see as many as 2-5 bears in a days hunt providing that the berry crop for the year is less than adequate for the bear’s food source take
Our population of color phase bear’s has increased
We are fortunate to have (2) Bear Management area’s to hunt
Fixed Ladder stands set for bow range are supplied.
Rifle, compound bow, traditional bow, cross bow, shot gun and muzzle loader are all legal weapons of the bear hunt.
Lodging, bear guide, stands, boat & gas for bear hunt and game care are included in package bear hunt.
Boat for fishing provided also
We take 10 -15 hunters each year,we believe that this ensures a healthy population and allow’s the bears to grow to thier full potential by limiting the amount of hunting preasure.
This is a 5-6 day hunt.
Baiting commences 3 weeks in advance of season opener. ( August 15- October 30 )
Trail cam pictures of bears at active baits are provided to the bear hunter prior to hunt.

NEWER Accommodation’s (2) CABINS, full kitchens with limited microwave use, toaster, Coffee Maker (we furnish the filters), gas stove and oven, electric refrigerator, dishes, cookware, utensils (we furnish dish soap), bathroom with all towels and bathroom tissue furnished, bedding linens, propane barbecue grill (we furnish propane), garbage bags, satellite t.v. with your own receiver. How to get there
Navigation guidelines
We hunt over 300 square miles of crown lands for our our deer hunt and our bear hunt is in 2 bear management area's
By car mode of travel. Located 65 miles north of the International Fall’s Minnesota border crossing into Ontario, Canada. At the town of Nestor Fall’s / Sioux Narrow’s. We then drive for 10 minutes to our private parking area. From there we shuttle via 15 minute boat ride to your lodging accommodation’s on the lake.
Guests also use the travel route from Baudette, Minnesota, 45 miles north to the government dock at Morson, Ontario. Parking at this location and boating for 10-15 minutes to our cabin location. We provide shuttle assistance to the cabins.
Some guests choose to fly and a routine flight will most always include a stop or connecting flight from Minnapolis, Minnesota to the International Fall’s, Minnesota airport.
At the airport there is offered a shuttle service……… For shuttle service from International Fall’s airport. www.northairtaxi.com………this service can be booked in advance………also car rental info is accessed at the airport desk.
