About this hunt

DAY HUNTS - SA RESIDENTS ONLY PLEASE NOTE ACCOMMODATION IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RATE. The area is a strikingly beautiful 500-hectare game farm which is located in the pristine bushveld of the North West Province of South Africa. As game breeders, we are passionate about our wildlife, conservation efforts, and environmental protection and rehabilitation programs. We would love to share our historic property Boekenhoutfontein with you – which is the original farm of the first president, Paul Kruger. He was one of the dominant political and military figures in 19th-century South Africa, and State President of the South African Republic from 1883 to 1900. Hunters will be encapsulated by the historical significance of the area and have the opportunity to hunt in the footsteps of Kruger. Rich in animal life, we are a main player in the conservation of the province. We offer a once-in-a-lifetime hunting experience and service. Our facilities included for your convenience provide a slaughter room, cold room, target practice area, experienced guides and trackers, refreshments, lodging, and equipped vehicles for tracking and spotting game. In addition, we offer the opportunity to fish at the Kruger Dam complimentary with your hunting excursion. Our hunters' itinerary will consist of early morning target shooting and hot bushveld coffee as they finetune their eyes for the hunt ahead. We will start the hunt at approximately 07h00 and encourage the stalk-and-hunt approach. The day will consist of hunting until guests request a break for further refreshments, we will then carry on thereafter. Once the hunt has been satisfied the option of fishing and sundowners at our 3-hectare dam is available at the hunter’s convenience. DAY HUNTS: Hunters may arrive and depart on the same day.
