Often underrated as a trophy animal the NZ Arapawa Ram is a wild sheep endemic to our country and found nowhere else in the world. Sporting large spiral horns and shaggy, woolen coats ranging from black to caramel brown, multi- coloured and even solid white they most certainly look the part. Unlike our domesticated sheep Arapawa are generally quite flighty and weary of any danger so can create quite the sporting hunt, especially by bow. At this very modest price it's no wonder many a hunter chooses to begin their trophy hunting career with this most popular NZ Ram.
