Our company was established in 2008 and operates in 1 territory.

We provide a premier New Zealand hunting experience! We have access to some of New Zealand’s best trophy hunting terrain and a world class hunting guide to help you explore the country.
We call it an ‘experience’ because there’s so much more to it than just a hunting trip, your adventure will include good old Kiwi family hospitality and an endless list of non-hunting activities. This is all made possible due to our location in Lake Hawea, only a short drive from the popular Lake Wanaka Resort and Queenstown, the bustling adventure capital of NZ.
Barry Dodds (Doddsy) has been hunting all of his life; he’s been a professional guide around the region for years and has also hunted throughout Australia and South Africa - so he knows a thing or two about stalking trophy animals.
To experience New Zealand hunting at its best, get in contact with Doddsy. He can take you on the trip of a life time, stalking the internationally famous red stag, or his favourite hunting prey – the Tahr. Both are in abundance right on the doorstep of his Hawea homestead.

About this hunt

The BIG 5 - Red stag, Fallow Buck, Elk, Tahr, Chamois/ This is a cancellation hunt for 1-2 hunters specifically for this date: 17th-21st April 2024 (However we have June date free if that suits better) The package includes: 1 x Silver medal red stag 1x Bull Tahr (Biggest we can find) 1 x Chamois Buck 1 x Bull Elk (Silver medal) 1 x Fallow Buck (Biggest we can find) This hunt will require 6 Days / 7 nights, as all are found in different areas. Red stag can be upgraded to a Gold but at the Gold fee rate.

Success rate

90% - Chamois and Tahr a little more difficult but we will do everything in our power to get a shot at one.

We have access to 100,000 acres of prime Tahr area near Mt Cook and rights to many other hunting concessions around the Southern Lakes to make your big game hunt successful and enjoyable.

Where you will stay

Homestead

Located within the main homestead, but is private and contains an ensuite for guests. All meals are also provided to guests, and are cooked to a high homemade standard. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks and beverages.
