- If you want to go fishing in Ontario, our lakes harbour species like muskies, northern pike, walleye, smallmouth bass and lake trout.
About this hunt
Semi-guided hunt on miles of groomed trails over 20,000 acres of private land (with/without your own dogs). We have a diverse population of upland game birds including ruffed grouse, woodcock, sharptail grouse, and prairie chicken.
Note from Paul Fuller: “Bird Dogs Afield was here in the fall of 2013 for a grouse hunt and film shooting. I have never seen so many grouse. Our 2nd day we had 49 ruffed grouse flushes and 6 sharptail flushes. In all about five hours of hunting. Our trip to Emo is one of our best broadcast television episodes this fall.
Hunting parties will stay at our lodge for the duration of there trip. Hunting parties will be responsible for transportation to and from hunting locations also their own meals. Owners will prepare one or two dinners for hunting party if they so desire. We recommend three to five days for a quality hunt.

Guided Accommodation
Pinecrest has 3 bdrm with 2 beds in each room. Kitchen/dining room, a sitting area with tables, couches and chairs. Indoor bathroom has a flush toilet and hot showers. Other amenities, wood stove, fridge, deep freeze, propane cooking stove, screened porch overlooking the lake, floating dock in protected bay. The lights/ water pump are run off solar panels and there is a generator to run the lights, fridge/freezer. Guests bring their own bedding, tea towels, bath towels, and shore lunch pans. All other pots, pans, and place settings are provided for both cabins
New NW Arm, 2 bdrm cabin with 8 beds, camp can accommodate 8 people. Separate bathroom/shower house 10 feet from main cabin. Other amenities include wood stove, Fridge, propane cook stove with oven, deep freeze, electric lights and water pump run off of solar panels, generator to run the lights, fridge, and freezer.

Driving Directions: The best way to get to us is to take the fastest route to either International Falls, MN or Baudette, MN. If you get to International Falls, cross the border to Fort Frances and take Highway 11 west to Emo. If you go to Baudette, cross the border into Rainy River and take Hwy 11 east to Emo.
Once you get to Emo, go North on the Off Lake Road, and we are located approximately 9 miles north Take a right turn on Dance/Kingsford Road and we are the first building you will see on the right.
