  • Our company was established in 2015 on the back of 30 years of hunting experience. We operate in the Rhinns of Galloway, in the most south west corner of Scotland.
  • A mild climate and un-spoilt landscape promotes an abundance of wildlife, which in turn mean Galloway is a haven for hunters. We combine beautiful varied ground with the opportunity to shoot a great variety of game.
  • We offer challenging mixed species Rough shoot days for groups of up to eight guns (minimum 4 guns).

About this hunt

Dumfries and Galloway supports a thriving population of game and the geese are here in abundance in the open season. Our ground covers over 5000 acres of mixed terrain and we are able to offer a rough shooting / wildfowling experiences subject to their open seasons (all listed below are typical quarry): Pheasant: Sept 1st – Feb 1st Grey & Red partridge: Sept 1st – Feb 1st Common Snipe: Aug 12th – Jan 31st Woodcock: Sept 1st – Jan 31st Brown Hare: Oct 1st – Jan 31st Rabbit: no close season Wood pigeon: no close season Duck & Goose (inland): Sept 1st – Jan 31st A full day with us consists of a goose flight at dawn, rough shooting in the afternoon and a duck / woodcock flight at dusk. Appropriate gun handling and field craft experience is essential. We offer shot gun hire and will organise visitor permits for overseas visitors.
