6 Day Whitetail Rut Hunt

We do our deer hunts from our Ranch. with all hunters staying in our fully furnished Lodge. Most of the hunting is done on private land that has been managed for big bucks. The area is a mix of big woods and private farm land which give the deer plenty of room to live and grow old with out the hunting pressure experienced in the u.s states. Our clients hunt for bucks with a minimum of 150 bc or a age of at least 4 years. The hunting is from box blinds set up over alfalfa and grain fields, at times ladder or climbing stands may be used to move hunters back into the woods or cut over areas when we find the sign of a big buck. As we hunt in the cold of the North heaters for the blinds and a warm soup lunch are provided so the hunter can hunt all day in the stand and take advantage of the bucks full time movement during the rut. We hunt by calling, rattling, and stand hunting. We hunt close to the doe herds, as the bucks will travel large areas in search of hot does. Because of the lack of hunting pressure and the heat of rut, the bucks will move all day in search of does. Our hunters hunt all day in order to maximize their hunting time and increase their success rate. We use good equipment, Heater body suits and quality stands to ensure our hunters remain warm and comfortable during their deer hunt. The cost of the hunting licence is 400 plus the GST tax of 5%. All bookings will be finalised with a signed contract showing hunt costs and responsibility's of me the outfitter. All hunters will also receive a wolf licence and they may be shot for no additional charge.
