The Eastern Cape boasts 6 out of 7 vegetation biomes and is the most ecologically diverse of South Africa's provinces. This diversity in turn supports a large number of plains game species; from kudu in savannah bushveld, to klipspringer in the craggy mountain peaks and bushbuck in the coastal forests. The Eastern Cape offers an unrivalled variety of hunting opportunities. The area from Uitenhage to Steytlerville is acknowledged as having the highest density of kudu in the world. Every year, 25,000 kudu are hunted in the Eastern Cape. We enjoyed a 100% success rate for kudu in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. During this period 24 out of 24 hunters who had a kudu on their wish list shot a trophy kudu, some chose to hunt a second one.

Being specialists in Plains Game, most of the species can be hunted on our own concession. We also have access to a number of other hunting concessions in our area for any plains game species not habiting our concession. ​In addition to the numerous plains game species, the concession is also home to larger game such as Buffalo, Hippo, Giraffe, numerous plains game species, various reptiles and over 250 bird species, which provides for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities while hunting. We offer both trophy and management packages and can accommodate individuals or groups of up to 8 hunters and their partners on our concession, with the option to stay at either our Luxury Safari Tented Camp or our Historical Lodge. We are experienced in guiding first time hunters, the experienced hunters as well as hunting with family groups.

You are invited to a hunt based in the heart of the Eastern Cape of South Africa, with it's majestic mountains, open plains and rolling fields, warm African hospitality and beautiful landscapes. Hunters prefer the Easten Cape because it is malaria free. Over the last number of years hunting visitors have steadily increased as the area has been discovered. Gun and bow-hunting opportunities are available for biltong or trophy hunters. Slaughter facilities, cold room, guides and a vehicle for the upload of animals are also available; wood is included in the daily fee. Our team of dedicated, licensed and highly experienced Professional Hunters, trackers and skinners, will guide, assist and attempt to educate you every step of the way. Together, the team has guided clients armed with rifle and bow to more than 50 species of game. You will arrive as a client and you will leave as a friend, with memories that we will all treasure forever. We utilize a fleet of new, well-maintained, fully equipped 4x4 hunting and utility vehicles. Our vehicles all have radio communication to keep in contact with the camp and each other. The majority of shots are taken between 100-200 yards. The package includes 6 days of accomodation and 4 full hunting days in our Free State area as well as 4 Springbuck trophies. This is and all-inclusive package hunt. Extra days and species can be added by request.

Different game requires different tactics, each day being different from the next. So, with this thought in mind, we take each day as it comes. Some clients are fitter than others and prefer to walk more, some prefer to rest up in the comforts of our well equipped air conditioned 4x4 vehicles. Usually, plains game is hunted with the aid of our 4x4 vehicles. The game is spotted and stalked on foot from that point.
