Spring Black Bear Hunt Alaska, United States

Black bears are an animal that you can hunt anywhere in North America. I have not experienced anywhere, even the interior, the unique hide of the bears we hunt. With the abundant food, berries and great genetics, we average 6 to 61/2 foot and occasionally see a 71/2 footer. You will book you airline ticket and hotel room to Cordova Alaska where you will be met. You and your 50bls of gear and weapon will be shuttled to your hotel room. Prior to arriving you should have purchased all your hunting licenses and locking tags on line at the ADF&G web site. Following day we will fly out to camp where there will be comfortable tents for sleeping and a kitchen tent for conversation and eating. The soothing sounds of the beach waves only a half mile away will lullaby you to sleep each time your head hits your pillow on your cot. From there your hunting begins. You and your guide will hike to where you will glass for your game and put your stock on. Your trophy will be cared for so your taxidermist needs only to just let it dry. Turning of the ears, nose lips, eyes and paws. Then fleshing and salt added. The meat will go to good use either you take it home or we will share with the local community and ourselves. Once we return to Cordova you are checked in at your hotel then we will get your hide and skull sealed at the ADF&G together (Alaska dept. of fish and game) it is now legal for you to fly home with your trophy. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DAYS QUOTED ABOVE ARE THE NUMBER OF FULL DAYS YOU WILL SPEND HUNTING. A TRIP LISTED AS 5 DAYS WILL ACTUALLY BE 7 DAYS WITH 1 DAY TO FLY IN AND 1 DAY TO FLY OUT, 10 DAYS IS 12 DAYS AND 12 DAYS IS A 14 DAY TRIP 5% Sales Tax Will Be Calculated And Added In Your Final Bill

2020 Moose hunt Alaska, United States

This is a 13 day trip, with 11 full days of hunting, September 5th – 16th. On top of the large moose in our exclusive area, wolf and wolverine harvest are at NO charge as long as the required permits through the Alaska Department of Fish and Game are purchased prior to the hunt and the seasons are open. Hunt options: We have two options for moose hunting. There is a BASE CAMP option located in a prime glassing spot overlooking meadows, lakes and ponds. Then there is a FLOAT TRIP option, where you will be dropped at a headwater lake in the preserve and floating 55-60 miles of preserve, picking up and moving camp when needed to gain new outlooks to find pre-rutting bulls. Hunters should fly into Anchorage on September 3rd and to King Salmon the morning of September 4th. Transportation into the field will occur on September 5th for the start legal hunting on September 6th. Transportation out of the field will be on September 16th, or before if animal is harvested. All weather depending. Commercial flights from King Salmon to Anchorage should be scheduled with a refundable ticket for the morning of September 18th. All guides have CPR and First Aid training and advanced courses in medical training (example – wilderness first responder or wilderness first aid). All guides will have and carry with them into the field each day: satellite phones, personal locator beacons, and GPS to provide a very safe hunt. Lodging in the field: One 10 x 10 sleep tent and a 8 x 8 cook tent will be used(or similar). Tents will be of the highest quality and include Alaska Tent and Tarp Arctic Ovens, Bombshelter tents, Cabela’s Outfitter tents or a combination. Meals will consist of fresh cooked and freeze dried meals. Modifications can be made upon request.

2020 Trophy Reindeer Hunting Alaska, United States

Trophy reindeer ranging from 350 SCI to 500 SCI These hunts take place in the Aleutians from late September to early November. Hunting will be conducted from the main lodge using ATV’s to get to the field and then stalking on foot for trophies. In some cases, a remote spike camp may be used depending on the location of the herd relative to the lodge. It is extremely important to note that this unique hunting adventure is only possible due to coordination with an organization that helps develop the Aleutian Islands for the benefit of the native citizens. In all cases, hunters are expected to show the native citizens and their customs respect. Each day you will go out into the field via ATV and glass for animals and once a trophy reindeer is located you will make the final stalk on foot. Hunters should be prepared for long rides on ATV’s (sometimes 20-30 miles per day) over variable terrain. The stalking part of the hunt can be quite challenging or fairly easy depending on where the animal is located and what the herd is doing. The more conditioning you can do in advance of your trip the better off you will be if you end up in a scenario where a trophy animal is difficult to approach. You should come prepared to deal with high winds, heavy rain and temperatures in the 30-50 degree range. Warm clothes that can be layered according to constantly changing conditions are a must Mother Nature reigns supreme in this part of the world – you must be prepared to deal with delays and changing plans depending on the weather. Days lost to inclement weather are not refunded, nor can the hunting trip be extended – this must be clearly understood before booking. Observers are welcomed at $5,500 per hunt this includes transportation to Aleutians from Anchorage Licenses are not required for the Reindeer hunts.  These animals are privately owned by the native citizens of the islands.
