Last Spots! Muskox Winter Hunt 2020 Greenland

This hunt is for adventure hunters who want to experince the arctic winter. The hunting bring us into the remote arctic winter wilderness. It is hunting in extreme conditions with temperatures from around 0 to - 40 C. It is an adventure in the world's “last frontier”. We will start hunting for Musk Ox, and we will hunt by ATV/snowmobile and on foot on a spot and stalk hunt. Depending on conditions, we use ATVs or snowmobile to bring us into the area, and after spotting the animal, we will start a stalk on foot. You will often be close to big arctic Musk Ox during the hunt. The last part of the hunt is exciting in ways that sometimes it tests the hunter’s nerve system! We are hunting under extreme arctic winter conditions; therefore your physical health has to be good. We will be able to take the vehicle to the dead animal to pick up meat and trophy. After approaching a lonely bull or a family group, there will normally be an opportunity to find support for the rifle on rocks or small hills when you are shooting. After a succesful Muskox hunting, we start hunting Caribou, polar fox, polar hare and ptarmigan. If you succeed with all of the five species you have shot what we call ''The Arctic Five''! To be mentioned: the Polar Fox can’t be exported due to rabies risk and the Caribou is not a big trophy at this time of year – but still ''The Arctic Five'' is ''The Arctic Five''! Program: Day 1: - Arrival to Kangerlussuaq - Outfitter receives you at airport. - Quick switch of clothes. - Transport to hunting camp. - Musk ox hunt. - Overnight stay at hunting camp. Day 2-3: - Spot and stalk musk ox hunt. - Hunt for caribou, polar fox, polar hare and Ptarmigan. - Overnight stay at hunting camp. Day 4: - Hunt in the morning. - Return to Kangerlussuaq. - Overnight accommodation at hotel. Day 5: - Departure from Kangerlussuaq. Last available dates for 2020: March 1-5 March 13-17 March 31 - April 4

August-September Caribou Hunt 2020 Greenland

This is a 6 day Caribou hunt package with 4 full hunting days and 1 trophy Caribou license included to the price. This type of hunting is very different from the other trophy hunting companies: on our autumn hunts the hunter participates not only in the ordinary camp work, but also with carrying camp equipment, and food, etc. to the camp, carrying trophy and meat down from the mountain, and carrying camp equipment back to the road after the hunt. There are no carriers and additional hunting guides to take care of everything. The hunt is done on foot. So you have to be in a fairly good condition, so you can walk 5 km out, and 5 km back with 30 kg on your back in varied terrain. But the longer you can walk, the better are the chances for big animals. It's possible to pay the guides for carrying your trophy for you, the cost is 10 euro per kg, and is not included in the tip. Please note that we hunt one animal at a time, and when all meat and trophy is back at camp, then we can start hunting the next animal. Furthermore, if we can’t carry all down the same day, then we bring down meat first, and trophy is stored in a tent to be carried down the next day. For hunting in August-September you need to bring a sleeping bag. When Muskox and Caribou are shot, we can use the rest of the hunt for small game hunting: snow hare availbale from August 1st; wingshooting: Canadian goose, duck, ptarmigan, loon are available from the 1st of September. Arctic fox and Raven available all season. Fishing arctic char in the lake at area 9 is also included, but bring your own fishing gear. Compound bow hunting is possible only on 1x1 basis (5000 euro per package), crossbow hunting is not allowed. Availability 2020: We take max. 4 hunters per group. August 17 to 22 - 2 openings August 28 to Sept.2 - 4 openings Sept. 7 to 12 - 4 openings Sept. 18 to 23 - 4 openings

Moose or Caribou 1x1, Includes Wolf '20 British Columbia, Canada

Includes wolf and fishing, $2,000 trophy fee for black bear if added Includes first antlered animal (moose or caribou) $5,000 trophy fee for 2nd antlered animal (moose or caribou) Hunting methods include 4×4 from base camp, horseback or fly-in backpack. Black bear can be hunted on any fall hunt on a trophy fee basis. The average antler spread of our moose is 45-55 inches with the occasional one reaching 60 inches. The vastness of our guide territory allows us to offer several different types of moose hunts without sacrificing the quality of the hunt or the quality of the moose. Out of base camp we can offer hunts for moose from 4×4, riverboat, tree-stand or on foot that can be tailored to anyone regardless of age or physical ability. Our caribou rival any in North America for trophy quality; however, we do not have the density in our area to offer too many exclusive caribou hunts. It is our preference to hunt caribou in combination with other species on backcountry horseback hunt. If you wish to hunt caribou as a single species you have to be prepared to spend a lot of time in the saddle traveling the high plateaus and ridges glassing for that big bull. All caribou harvested must be 5 points or better to ensure trophy quality. In the back country we can hunt for moose as a classic mountain horseback hunt or fly in by float plane and hunt moose from a remote drop camp. A deposit of 33% is required to book a trip. A 2nd deposit of 33% plus license and tag funds are due: April 1st for Spring Hunts June 1st for Fall hunts. The remaining balance is due upon arrival in camp. Final payment must be in cash, certified cheque, or wire transfer*. Personal checks will not be accepted as final payment and your hunt will not start until the hunt is paid for in full.

10 Day Grizzly/Caribou Combo on 1x1 '20 Alaska, United States

The 10 day Grizzly/Caribou hunt will be booked as a medium difficulty backpack hunt on 1x1. We will plan on being in areas of less exposure to weather. Spike camp will be carried by the client and guide, usually on a through-hike (not coming out the same way they went in). The clients will need to be in top physical and mental shape. In the Arctic, one guarantee is by mid-September the mountain creeks have begun to freeze (if not already), storms have became more violent and higher elevation air strips are threatened by snow. Temperatures are generally in the 20 to 45 degree range. Along with the storms comes poor visibility, high river crossings and delayed travel. These times are mentally challenging for most hunters. Good Kavik Camp communication and high quality gear while in Spike Camp allows us to be patient and comfortable while waiting for better weather. During the later hunts, there are definitely fewer people out and about resulting in less traffic in the main valleys. Also animals seem to start moving out of high elevation areas that they have been in most of the summer and travel into transition areas lower down in elevation. Our packs will be approximately 60 lbs each. This will allow the guide to carry additional 100 lbs of game meat out and the hunter with 50 lbs of cape and horns. Air support will be utilized for pick up on a braided gravel bar of at least 500 ft. with a good approach. Hunting License and tags not included in above prices. Our company sells tags but you can also purchase at http://www.adfg.alaska.gov. For an additional fee of $3000 you can request your own packer to aid with your entire hunt. We have full time butcher to cut, grind and vacuum seal your game. Additional species on a trophy fee basis while on the hunt.
